Silverstone - Sesi latihan bebas kedua MotoGP Inggris di Sirkuit Silverstone, Jumat (15/6/2012) malam WIB, dikuasai oleh Casey Stoner. Dia disusul Ben Spies dan Alvaro Bautista.

Sesi kali ini berlangsung dalam kondisi trek kering meski hujan sempat turun sebentar. Stoner sukses jadi pebalap tercepat dengan catatan waktu 2 menit 4,791 detik.

Spies harus puas di tempat kedua. Catatan waktunya lebih lambat 0,034 di belakang Stoner.

Bautista juga tampil impresif di sesi kedua ini. Kalau di sesi pertama dia cuma menempati posisi kesembilan, di sesi kedua dia ada di urutan ketiga dengan waktu 2 menit 4,995 detik.

Valentino Rossi yang jadi pebalap terbaik di sesi pertama gagal mempertahankan posisinya. Dia cuma menempati urutan ke-11 di sesi kali ini.
